A2 Flash hider allows semi-permanent attachment to any gun that currently has an A2 flash hider or 1/2x28 threads. One example is that it allows for putting a suppressor on an AR15 with a CMMG 22LR adapter without having to remove the existing muzzle device. Or easy attachment to pretty much every 22lr gun with a threaded barrel.
