Hello, this is an ammo box designed for .45 ACP rounds. It is a waterproof and rugged box for long term storage, and also compact enough to bring to the range.

Print Settings:

Base and Lid - PETG or ABS recommended. Increase top and bottom layers to at least 1mm think to increase drop resistance.

Latch - PETG recommended. Print 100% Solid. This part requires a little give to it that gives it that satisfying snap.

Seal - TPU required to get seal correctly. Seal isn't required, but the ammo box will not be waterproof.

Parts Required for Assembly:

4x 3x20mm Hex cap screws

4x 3mm Hex nuts

3D Printed parts

Assembly steps:

  1. Insert 3mm hex nuts into the lid and the base 3d prints. There are hexagonal cut-outs for the nuts to be pressed into.
  2. Slide the lid on top of the base. The hinge section will only align in the correct orientation. Use (2) 3x20mm screws to secure the lid onto the base.
  3. Attach the latches onto the lid, following a similar procedure.
  4. Test the opening and closing of the box to ensure the screws aren't too tight as to restrict movement.
  5. Open the box, insert the seal around the inner race of the base. It should seat and stay in the base.
