The APM-80 Jumping mine is a compact, tripwire initiated, aerial delay mine that is 3D printable. It’s compact in size, and lightweight featuring an all plastic construction.

The lift charge of pyrodex or black powder is initiated via primer/cap and striker. There are 3 separate detonators that are initiated via short pieces of pyrotechnic delay element (Fuze) in order to increase the likelihood that one or more of the detonators will be successfully initiated by the lift charge.

Pre-fragmented shrapnel is housed between the inner and outer wall of the mine. The “jumping” action of the mine helps to disperse this shrapnel amongst a wider ranger and in a effective and lethal manner.
