The VZ6 CHIMERA is a lightweight, modular, and fully 3D-printable hybrid firearm. It retains the proven VZ61 operating system while integrating a monolithic lower receiver with a standard AR-15 fire control group (FCG). This design dramatically simplifies assembly and improves ergonomics compared to the original VZ61.

Note This is an early release. Personal circumstances have prevented me from finishing development,The current files have passed basic alpha testing so I’m releasing it now to avoid further delays. A finalized version will be released later.

Development Status

• Alpha Phase: Completed
  Successful testing included parts fitment, cycling/feeding, and controlled range testing. The design demonstrated reliable function and structural integrity.
• Current Phase: Public Beta (Early Access)
  Community testing is now open. Feedback is requested on:
• Printability across different printers and filaments
• Long-term durability and wear
• Assembly experience and tolerance suggestions
• Overall reliability
