this jig is made so it can help you get the same magnet placement. as that of the FGC9 SD version. what will lock in your charging handle forward. and improves the feel of using the charging handle over the original MKII version
it’s true that this jig is made for just a 4mm drill bit. this was done because it would other wise get to fragile. but you can just step the size of the drill up after you made a mark with the 4mm drill bit.
why would you want to do this mod? so the charging handle stays in better place by the use of the cylinder shaped magnet that haves a OD of 5mm and is 10mm long
