This is a copy of the handguard from the M16A2E2 rifle entered in the US Army ACR trial.
Colt is a registered trademark currently owned by CZ and this product is not endorsed by them in an official manner.
ACR is a registered trademark of literally nobody because its an acronym used by the government for an open source contest, just to make sure we're all on the same page after Colt took an L for trying to trademark the term 'M4'.
Ensure proper scale is used with adjustment for material shrinkage as this item is nearly 1 foot long.
There are not provisions for a heat shield in this handguard and I have used aluminum tape with success.
