The first builds and feedback from testers is in for the beta RPM-85 launcher.
Huge thanks to those of you who have been involved in testing. Yall know who you are.
This update incorporates your feedback:
-The issues with the rear wire-channel being unattached is fixed.
-Covers for the rear wire way now included.
-For the front wire way (Forward of the battery box) where covers would be hard to put in place (Due to the grip and foregrip) cable-tie holes have been added to secure wiring via zip tie/cable tie/etc.
-The front and rear iron sight have been deleted entirely (they were mostly just representative anyway in this early release stage.) And pic-rail has been added to the first and second body sections to facilitate whatever optic the user likes.
-The foregrip had no access for wires in the previous version, now it does.
-The rocket now includes the impact detonator/fuze with some minor improvements.
-The old version of the fuzed rocket included a second detonator to be initiated by the delay charge from a commercial rocket motor to act as a self-destruct feature in case of overshoot, This has been delete as it could serve as a potential failure point between the rocket motor and the main charge if using a very strong home-poured rocket motor, which could potentially cause CATO/Premature detonation with some charge materials.
For those of you who already printed the earlier versions, my bad - bear with us as we move this thing towards being a finished, tested, finalized launcher.
