Looking for a nice reliable build for an ar22? This build focuses on reliability with the basics. The lower has a built in pistol grip to eliminate grip wobble when using a build with a heavy front end (ex. 16in barrel with a scope and bipod) one hand gripping this build by the pistol grip will put excessive stress on the grip screw housing and can lead to cracks. I avoid this by using a small set screw instead to install the safety spring and detent allowing for a solid lower/grip print. The upper uses slightly larger takedown holes to help prevent cracking. My stock/brace system is very strong and reliable as long as you use the wood screw to reinforce the two pieces. My handguards are comfortable and convenient with 3 different options. i have also included a couple printable mag designs that i found or made myself.
