The Sten magwell is a DLC item for the StubbMaschinenpistole .40, or SMp.40, the DIY SMG.

The SMp.40 is originally designed to use Colt AR15 pattern magazines, or modified UZI magazines as they are generally more reliable, consistent, and commercially available and already compatible with AR15 platform parts.

Sten magazines are cheap surplus mags often available for low prices due to their poor condition and reliability, while also visually being closer looking to MP40 magazines due to the Sten being a crude derivative of the MP28, whos patented Schmeisser magazine design is used in the MP40.

Expect 1 in 3 Sten magazines to need minor fitting and adjusting to function and buy in bulk. Disassemble and clean the magazines to the best of your ability.
It is common for Sten magazines to be converted to 20 rounds post war but this is reversible if you so choose.

This pack includes the SMp40 base model magazine well, a magazine catch and feed ramp for Sten magazines, and a flat sided magwell with no reinforcing ribs meant to more resemble a first pattern MP40.
