I made this spacer for CMMG .22LR conversion kits. It's installed in place of the stock AR15 buffer weight, and uses the stock AR15 buffer spring to apply pressure on the back plate of the CMMG BCG so that it has no movement when the bolt is closed.
I had issues with the Law Tactical CMMG .22 spacer popping out when removing the upper, so I came up with the idea to remove the AR15 buffer weight entirely and replace it. I added a slope to the top so the upper closes smoothly, and also added some extra material to the bottom where the buffer retainer pin sits so that the spacer can't rotate, causing it to pop out. I printed it 25% infill with ABS with a QIDI X-Plus.
