This is a upgrade for the case slider on the Lee 6000 (Six Pack) Progressive Reloading Press. It improved the reliability of grabbing a case and inserting it into the shell holder and prevents/greatly reduces kinking the case feed spring.

If you're original Lee case slider is working ok, then I don't know if I would bother with this upgrade. However, if like me, you're kinking case feed springs and brass is not entering the shell plate reliably then this is for you.

This design uses 12 micro ball bearings so it slides smoothly on the case feed rail. This prevents/greatly reduces the risk of kinking the slider spring and having to replace it.

The design includes a slider body with interchangeable brass holders. This allows for fine tuning as well as the ability to change to different calibers.

This initial design release is for 9mm/38cal brass.

Detailed instructions are provided covering printing, parts, assembly & testing.

Bambu X1C filament and settings files are provided.

NOTES:

  1. The Lee case feeder *may not* work with this design. I’ve not tested it. In any case, I recommend removing the Lee case feeder and printing a 3d printable Universal case dropper for Lee Six Pack Pro (6000) designed by Grimnir3D. I use it and it’s great. It’s not expensive to buy the 3D printing files and I suggest you install one before trying this project. It may be enough of an improvement on its own to fix your case feed problems without having to build this case slider at all.

You printer will need to be well tuned/calibrated as the parts are small and detailed.
