I love my Inline Fabrication ultra base and it's quick change plate system, but I needed a way to store the equipment that is mounted on the quick change plate when they are not in use in the ultra mount.

Inline Fabrication have their own storage docks available, but I needed something that lays flat on shelfs or workbenches.

The design is quite simple but fills my need quite well and it might help others.

There are two holes at the back of the plate to secure them in place using ¼ inch bolts. That is safer for equipment that is front heavy. It also keep the plate steady while you put in heavier items.

There is also a design that has no slot for the back “thong” and a large front lip. I designed that one to store my vise.

Print it upside down, so no supports are required. Normal 10-15% infill seems to be plenty even for heavy items given how spread the load is.
