This print is a direct replacement for the Ruger MKII 22LR magazine base. it fits a little bit better than the original equipment base.
I found printing this model at 45 degrees works perfect to control the width of the groove that the stock stamped steel portion of the magazine slips into. Print with the rounded portion of the base in the up position. I used a 3mm brim to help secure everything to the bed. I printed in PLA but PETG might be a better choice for longevity.
I am also working on a base with a grab on the bottom to help pull the mag from the frame.
