PLABoi included a "Looser fit threads" adapter for those who had issues with the original adapter fitting.. I am sure that I probably just need to tune my printer a bit, but even that one was too tight for me, so I took another 0.020" off the thread radius (so 0.040" on the diameter). I've seen a few others with similar issues, so I am uploading it in case anybody finds it useful.
