This is very similar to the "Plan B Threaded Insert for FTN.5 Rifle" that I recently published, but it uses a much lighter muzzle device component. The Plan B Muzzle Device Thread Protector, part# TPM-F by Forward Controls, weighs only 0.6 oz. It should be solid enough to work with 9mm rounds, but I do not advise trying something this light with rifle ammo.

01/29/2026 - Initial release. I've had my Form 1 applications pending for a couple weeks now and am waiting on those to be approved before I start printing suppressors. So, this design has been fit-checked in a threaded tube mock-up but has not seen any testing with live rounds yet. Therefore, if you decide to try this design, please proceed cautiously and slowly, checking the mount for stability after each of the first few shots.
