NOTE: The file you'll download is a .rar, which will require WinRAR, 7-ZIP, WinZIP, etc. to extract. Once extracted, read the README for the disclaimer regarding the optional experimental charging handle; the password for the main files is also included in the README. This may be unnecessary, however, I don't want someone trying it without knowing that it reciprocates and getting wacked in the face.
This should work with all Gen 2 TX22 Full-Size Pistols. Gen 1 should work; however, you'll need to design a different charging handle/rear sight.
The purpose of this remix is as follows:
- To allow for more options suppressed, any 38mm or smaller OD suppressor should work, including (Dim It Down, FTN.3 Rimfire, FTN.4 Rimfire, FTN.4 CF Rimfire, and FTN.5 Rimfire).
- To close in the bottom of the chassis and retain the rear of the TX22, preventing the potential for the charging handle to skip over the rear sight.
- To allow the brace to be folded without interfering with any lights/Lasers mounted on the left side Picatinny rail.
The foregrip and folding adapter should fit on the rails tightly and may require light taps with a rubber mallet or the handle of pliers/screw driver to fit. This was done to make them both as solid as possible and eliminate any wiggle or give.
STLs, SCS STEPs, a 3MF, a STEP Assembly, and V1.0 of the guide are included in the files.
